Default 101 octane & timing

i'm going to the drags tomarrow, stock jdm b16 gen2, cold air, header, exhaust. i'm going to mix 2 gallons of 91 with a gallon of 101. my timing is set @ 16 degrees.
I've heard that these engines were tested with 101 octane. should i set my timing @ 17 or maybe 18 degrees? is it really worth it?
my set-up is untuned

search for 'how to read plugs'. Actual timing numbers dont really mean much from one setup to the next.
