Default 1/4 question

i consider myself an alright driver but will a short shifter improve my time at the track?

Do engine dampners really work and keep the motor in place because all i have are factory mounts and the engine moves, i was planning on getting some inserts also. Do you guys think this will take care of the problem?

IMO B-Series short shifters will only make the tranny grind after time.
