1/4 mile time ?'s
okay, i took my car to the track and was pretty dissappointed with my time. I ran into problems that I really didn't expect but I guess all in all its a true measurement of my car on the street.
i didn't change up anything including: not taking out spare, full size spare, running 17's [racing harts are too heavy btw], didn't disconnect the cat, run like 1/2 tank.
etc etc. there's a lot of things i didn't do cause i was either lazy or didn't have a place to put all the crap.
i was wondering if you guys thought if i did a lot of that mentioned above, could i lower my times by like say a half second or more?
i kept losing traction for some reason and up top it was feelin sorta weak. i'm thinkin my 2.25 exhaust is killing me up there.
anyways here's the weak timesplip:
R/T .295 [yea pretty bad for this one i know]
60' 2.344
330 6.457
1/8 9.862
MPH 70.84
1000 12.897
1/4 15.460
MPH 89.10
this was at stock 5psi on the apexi kit on a sohc auto ex with the v-afc hack.
