I need help on peoples thoughts on different wheel finishes, I know white gets super dirty all the time, and black is just black, But What about polished wheels , I know most polished wheels have a clear on them.
But what happens when the clear starts to come off over time like on paint jobs, and the will oxydies and or rust?

I want to buy nickel plated wheels but what will happen is the clear dyes.

I just want help with you ideas on different finishes and best ways to keep them maintained.

For all finishes, the best way to keep them maintained is wax and frequent cleaning.

Nickel plated wheels? Nickel oxidizes, and a plated coating isn't clear coated... If you mean a typical "show chrome", that is nickel then chrome plated, with the chrome acting as the protective layer over the reflective nickel.

And good paint should not oxidize on you, nor should the clear "come off". If it does, you had a terrible paint job on them.
