Icon2 Wax seperated

I normally keep my wax in the same bottle it comes in.

This time, I decided to pour the wax into a clear detail squeeze bottle, like what the pros use.

This was a few months ago. It's summer now, and 100+ degrees in the garage. I notice the wax separating from the liquid. I tried to shake it, it's still "separated."

Why is this happening and is the wax still good?

I used this for years and never noticed it. That's because I never poured it into another bottle so I would not know if it does.

honestly, meguiars is not all that impressive from what ive seen. their detail spray leaves a haze behind, and the shelf life of their products is horrible, hence this thread. yes its good stuff if you are cruising through walmart looking for the best bang for the buck stuff

Guilty.

Used to be a Zaino freak, but don't got the time anymore.

Liquid waxes/sealants can separate in high heat.

My bottle of Blackfire Wet Diamond is NOTORIOUS for this.

Put it in the fridge (not the freezer) for a few hours and give it a good shake. Should work like a charm.
