Default Some Questions

Well im just about ready to do paint correction on my car
and i have narrowed down to the m205 polisher but i dont know what pad
to accompany it with.
i have a used orange lake country pad and im not sure if that would be okay?

Also what microfiber towel would be nice to remove m205 after polishing with a PC?

After the cutting process, what sealer or wax/pad would be nice without swirling the soft honda clear coat all over?

car is a 96 civic. some links would be nice thanks

The pad to use depends on the severity of the defects you want to correct. I suggest you post some full sunlight pics.

Don't use a used pad though, unless you know that the pad was only used with M205. Don't mix products on the same pad.

the key is to start from top to bottom.. going bottom to top may cause you to pickup rocks/debree causing more scratches as yo go up

use the m205 w/ new orange pads, but depending on the severity of the swirls, You may want to use m105 at low speeds as the paint is thin on hondas, then hit it with the m205. Just use some cheap microfiber cloths from target or autozone to remove the polish. And order some blackfire sealant to seal the paint...

but i used those cheap microfiber towels on a test spot after it was polished clean and i could see swirls being created as i was wiping the polish off!

yes, the microfiber towels will leave swirls, but those swirls are residue, not actual blemishes in the paint. If you wanna be real picky, use a wool pad, but as soon as you seal the paint, that residue wont be on anymore...

m205 will leave a good enough finish to apply wax/sealant, but you can take it one step further and finish with a polish before the wax/sealant layer.

pakshak towels are crazy soft and very thick. some shitty mf towels will cause imperfections while wiping off polishes.

like mentioned, depending on the severity of the swirls, m105 might be a better choice to start off with. ccs pads are great.

if you are going to use a wool pad, be careful with the speed you use.

i ordered a lc orange flat pad 5.5" cos ill be using a PC and i read that the smaller the better on a PC.
i ordered m205 also with some cobra miracle towels.
if the m205/orange pad doesnt cut it [literally] im gonna pull out a new yellow pad that i have laying around.

do you guys think i should apply Blackfire Wet Diamond sealant with the LC blue pad?

edit wow redcoupe u got a rwd civic? coool!

yeah, 5.5" is the largest pad id use on the pc.

i apply sealant with the pc, but i always apply wax by hand, but thats just me. if you do apply with pc, use the blue pad for sure.
