Ok so my mom 98 Accord 4dr has a lot of highway miles so it has a lot of scratches on the front end. this is what is looks like. I detailed it one day so here are some pics of it and the bad hood.













And this is what the horrible hood looks like. I need some help on what to use on it to correct it some or either take it to get some new clear coat paint.

 

I only have an 6" orbiter right now too that i use to apply wax or sealant.

 

Scratch X works good when your going cheap. You can get it at Advance, Napa, etc etc

 

So with Scratch X i can just put some on the orbitor and get to work or would i have to use it by hand

 

It will work both ways.

Meguiars ultimate compound is way better than Scratch-X if your going for cheap parts store stuff. But good chance that paint is toast anyway. Only thing that might save that is some wet sanding
