Default rust hood help

So im rusting my hood. I applied hydrogen peroxide vinegar and salt with a rough (metal) sponge and this is how it looks so far. Is this part of it? is it still in the process of rusting? its whitish in the picture

take it down to bare metal and apply hydrochloric acid. That strips anything foreign away and makes it rust once it dries.

...it was sarcasm lol.

Don't forget to buy a roof rack, low offset wheels, stretch your tires, tow hooks, and put stickers everywhere, then you will be cool.
