Testing waters:
I got a Port n Polished 96 gsr head done by KG which uses web cams valvetrain,jg springs,1mm oversized valves and aluminum retainers.Im not sure how much mileage is on the head because i bought it used.I myself have put about 2000 miles on it last year.Nothing is wrong with the head,its in fact still on my car and runs fine.The guy i bought it from has says it can rev to 10k and he has token it to 9600rpm with 26psi of boost.
From what i heard is that oversized valves are good for turbo or nitrous but not for all motor which im going for.Not sure how much its worth but i know not less than $1,000.I would also be willing to trade for another dohc vtec head in perfect condition and some cash or maybe a PnP head for all motor.
I would love to keep the head but i dont want to have problems when i go all motor.I got to make sacrifices.The guy i bought it from had it in his drag car and dynoed over 500hp and 400tq with 26psi.He is a HT member and can vouch for me.
