These rods were installed but never run. This is why they still have the redline assembly lube on them. I decided on different rods during install.

Yes, the block has to be notched, its a very easy process though, most people blow it out of proportion.

Have the rod bolts been torqued down(stretched)?

 

Bolts were torqued to half spec, they are fine.
