I searched for axles to replace or swap and found nothing. Anywho, i need to know if theres any other axles that would fit/work/interchange for an EC4, cause i need both driver and passenger. The ones on are shot for sure, clicking and both inner and outer booths are torn.
I was thinking of getting a set from a DX 88'-91' since theres plenty around here, but then was not sure if they would fit and no didnt feel like paying the $$$ for something that wont work.
I have tried replacing with a DX passenger axle from my 93 hatch and its still a tid bit longer to clear the knuckles and would prolly need some mod to clear it. I really dont want to put too much work into this. So if anyone on here knows which axles are interchangeable, replaceable, etc for an EC4. I would greatly appreciate your service.

Edit: EC4 = chassis code for 87' POS Carb'd Civic sedan. everything is manual except for the tranny....its a D15 too, LOL...

C'mon someone has to know what axles are replacable with this one.

 

ok. forgot about the sedans, i don't pay much attention to them..

only 84-87 Civic axles will work properly. you should be able to buy some remans down at your local autoparts store.
