Hey I finally have some money saved up to do a k20 swap in my '05 EX coupe, but I am having trouble finding a type S motor in Canada... I tried googling it, and what places i could find all say they are out of stock or could not get them in. However, the K20A type R motors are easily available, but i don't see the point of spending the extra 1500 for that motor when i plan to completely rebuild it and turbo it anyways. hmotorsonline.com has the A2 in stock for 4000usd, but by the time i pay for shipping and duty fees, i might as well have spent the extra on the type R and say i have something JDM in my car. So where do all the Canadians out there get your K-swaps from? What would you do in my case?

 

get the spoon k20a from spoon :D or just search junk yards and craigslist
