Default Zapco amp problem?

Alright i have 2 zapco amps. The first one is a 1 channel 1100watts and the second one is a 360 4 channel both of these amps are the reference series. My problem is i try hooking up the 1100watts 1 channel on one of my 15' eclipse titanium sub and the moment u turn the volume up the sub makes this weird noise like it blew, kinda like a flapping sound but when u lower the volume it stop. So i figure maybe this amp is too powerful to push only one 15' titanium but then again my friend has the same sub hooked up to his jl 1000/1 amp and it sounds awesome. So i decided to try the 360watts 4 channel zapco amp and the sub still sounds the same. I try my other amp it's a ppi 1000/1 and everything is fine, so my question is, is there a switch or something on the zapco amp that i didnt click or is there a special way to wire my sub to the amp? I mean i know zapco is one of the top amps out there but why does mine sounds like crap? Im thinking maybe my amps are not good anymore but i bought both of these amps from different seller so for the 2 amps to have the same problem is weird, i would understand if it only happen to one amp, plus these amp are in fairly to new condition! Anyone with zapco reference series amp out there have this problem?

Really sounds like you have something hooked up wrong. I would start at the RCA's, then check power and ground. then I would look at the deck.

what setting do you have the symbilink at? Where is the gain on the amp? What impedance subwoofer? Do the amps play ok with highs or a test speaker?
