i had the 2 comp vr 10's and they SUCK ***! its a waste of money. i had 240watts (ads) going to each them and they weren't loud, it sound good low but it just wouldnt bump. your better off just getting one 10" boston, JL, eclipse, you know what i mean...

I have used kicker subs for several years now, and they rate very highly in my opinion. You simply cannot beat kickers warranty!

I had two 12" Kicker Comp VR's (they were slightly underpowered) and now I've got 3 10" JL W0's. The JL's go louder, and sound cleaner, but they've got a lot more power.

The kicker's were fine, a good bang for the buck sub I think. 8" might be a little small. I'd go with 1 10" if I were you.

Kicker is a good sub, that is kinda over priced. They are kinda box picky, in that they really need to be matched well, and to sound good they need to be voice matched to your stereo speakers. just my .02
