why does my headunit display "error2" when i insert a c.d.? it sometimes says error 1 also. help?

it's a ghetto 1 that came with the car when i purchased it. it's by xtreme sound (model wmss36rw) i called them earlier and they told me that my lense might be dirty. i doubt it thought because when i had it in my del sol it worked perfectly fine but in my 00 accord, all it says is "ERROR2". the radio works fine though.
