who to trust
hey i was wondering i have a really good friend of mine who is a bestbuy installer and he said he can install and alarm for me on the side. it is a alarm with remote start, keyless entry a pager and the whole nine yards. i can get it done from him for about $150 including the hood pin, trunkpin, backup battery, backup siren, including the parts. or i work at bestbuy and have it done there professionaly but get charged up the ***. bestbuy has a a warranty. but this guy has one hell of a background in installing. who do i trust
Common sense kicks in on this line - "i have a really good friend of mine"
Of course you go with your friend over. Since they'll at least care more for your car and do a much better job. Best Buy/Circuit City dudes will just do a rush job and do a cheesy basic install, which then makes any alarm useless anyway.
