Default Where to place CD changer?

I'm looking to get a 12 disc Pioneer CD changer...and I'd like to mount it underneath the front passenger seat.

Is this a good place to mount it?
Anyone have a CD changer mounted there?
Any problems with it in that location?

(my car is a 99 Integra)

Thanks in advance

perfect place, you could also put it in the trunk, but under the sat is the preffered place for most..

good luck

Will it fit under the seat? I have NO room under the seats in my EG.

I've never mounted mine. It just sits on the floor in front of the front passenger seat. When I am on the road, I like easy access to change the magazines. In questionable areas, I remove the changer and take it inside with me at night.

I'd use the glovebox. Less hassle with wiring and easy to reach.

I'd never mount it under the seat (even if it'll fit). you never know when a ...um.... hefty person's gonna ask for a ride and push the bottom of the seat into the top of your changer.

doubtful. It's even tight with a 6 disc alpine.

Yeah, now that I have the CD changer, I don't think it's going to fit.

So where should I install this in my integra? Obviously it's going to go into the trunk, but I was wondering if it could be installed on the back of the back seats? Is that a bad idea???
