thx

ungo used to have one. it was part of their shock sensor, if I recall. it was hard to set sensitive enough, though.

What you are looking for, is a Tilt and/ or Motion sensor. ( not a radar, or shock sensor)

let us know what you decide to go with...

What you require is a tilt/motion sensor.
DEI has two versions available:

507T digital tilt/motion sensor
905075/60-5037 Clifford digital/tilt motion sensor

Either verson wil work with any alarm. Should run about
75.00 from your local DEI dealer.

so a tilt motion sensor is an option that you can add onto the alarm? do you think you could get the same results if you set a proximity detector really low?

i mean you set the proximity detector at a really low sensitivity setting, so it only picks up big thumps against the car or maybe the car being jacked up?

ahhh. In that case, not a chance.

Find a tilt sensor, and it's all good.

NO!...they are to different animals. Put a prox sensor on your
car and I can still take a Nascar style Floor jack and raise the
car up,steal your wheels and drop it back on the ground...all
without triggering your alarm
. Suck to be you huh..

Its your call...you can use what will work or try to 'rig' something
that will have disasterous results.

just finding out about options. i'll get the tilt/motion sensor
i think the prox detector is pretty useless cause most alarms chirp anyway when they sense something pushing against the car

if you're just worried about your wheels, get a tilt sensor. When the car is picked up at an angle, the alarm will go off. Once my car is lifted about a few extra inches, the alarm will go off. DO NOT PUT A MOTION SENSOR OUTSIDE YOUR CAR. Motion sensors can be a big PITA. i havce one installed inside my car. Cats used to walk on my windshield at night and make the alarm go off. Even with my sensitivity turned all teh way down, strong random wave frequences can set off the car.

Just get a tilt sensor.
(i'm talking from experience)
