I'm thinking of buying this off craigslist.

I talked to the guy yesterday and he told me he doesnt know exactly which gauges I might need (just told me I needed some power cables and RCAs), so I'm coming here to ask. Btw, it'd be great if you can let me know how much the gauge might cost. Also, do you think this is a great sub for the price?

So if what you are looking at is used then it's not a very good deal, not that a Sony xplod amp and alphasonik sub would be at just about any price but free anyway.
You could use 8ga power and ground if the lead is not too long, but I recommend 4ga to be sure... http://search.ebay.com/search/...&fgtp= 94
