Default weird sounds...

ok so i just installed some pioneer ts-g1341r (5' 1/4") speakers on my civic and i'm still using this diamond audio crossover that the car came with and i think they're these http://www.diamondaudio.com/content/view/110/135/ The problem is...when i turn it up pretty loud it starts to have this weird static annoying sound and i was wondering if it has anything to do with the crossover im using or if theres anything that i should get to fix it

First, unplug that cross over and run the speaker like there suppose to be. Speakers are going to play what ever they are being fed. So check your sources, headunit, amp, rca's What is the complete set up that you are running

well it doesn't have anything like amps or whatever...it only has an old bankraupt cassette player, diamond audio speakers all around (except the rear ones i just changed) and that diamond audio crossover, but i'm going to try directly connecting the rear speakers to the stereo harness and see if its better...
