Sounds like your alarm has gone into valet mode. I think if you hit this combo on your key fob it will turn off the valet mode

try this: lock-unlock-lock
don't do it really fast though, just enough time (maybe a second) between hitting the buttons

What he said, but the alarm needs to "see" an open door, also if pressing the buttons on the remote in that order doesn't work, then, locate your valet switch and,
1.open door
2.put key in ignition and turn to run
3.immediatly turn ignition off
4.within 10 seconds press and release the valet switch.
that should take it out of valet, the way to tell if it's in valet in the first place, look at the l.e.d. (flashing light) and see if it's on constantly, if it is, that indiacates that the alarm is in valet mode.
hope that helps.

u guys dont have a viper alarm do u?

ur keypad has a lock, unlock, aux, and a orange speaker right?

you press the aux button and hold it down, it puts it into silent mode, so u can arm, disarm w/o people hearing the chirp, you press the speaker button, then aux button, and it should go outa silent mode.. if that doenst work, let me know and ill go try it myself..

i havent put my car in silent mode in so long, i might be wrong with the button combo's, but worst case, u can d/l the manuel of the alarm system from DEI or i can just check mine.. let me know w/ a p.m

What those guys said above is correct.

To enter or exit valet mode:

open the drivers door
hit LOCK-UNLOCK-LOCK
The LED will either go from solid to non, or vise-versa (depending on if you're going into or exiting from Valet mode).

What 91TEG-G2 is talking about is silent mode, not Valet mode. if you hit AUX and then lock or unlock, it will disable the alarm chirp. The difference here is the alarm still ACTUALLY arms or disarms. With Valet mode, the alarm will not arm or disarm, it only functions as keyless entry with panic.
