Hello all, I just finished installing a Viper 350+ in my 93 civic coupe and everything went pretty good except 2 small issues. They both have to do with the instant trigger. Neither my trunk nor the hood pin switch I installed set off the alarm when they are opened. I used diodes on the instant trigger wire. With the trunk im thinking I could have the wrong wire hooked up. I hooked it up to the only solid green wire on the cluster harness (which I have been told is the correct wire, though I have suspicions its not). I just didnt have time to strip a bit of cover from each wire and test every wire on the cluster harness to see which one was it. I have no idea what the issue with the hood pin could be. Do I have to strip all the paint off the metal where I have it installed? Could this be the problem? Any help from anyone who has done installs on 92-95 civics would be great. Thanks.

 

So I messed around with it a bit today and it looks like the hood pin is working now. The only problem that remains is the trunk. Can anyone with a similar vehicle (92-95 civic) verify which wire is the trunk cable? Thanks.

 

Trunk trigger, [trunk open warning light lead] on a 93 Civic is green/black, above fuse panel in blue plug, it is a neg.(-). 94
