Default Viper alarm/ remote start problem

I have a viper alarm system with the remote start. And my question is why does it start the car then a few seconds later tries to restart while it's started.
Any diagrams to help? And words of advise?

You have a wiring issue.

You didn't specify a model of the alarm, plenty of wiring diagrams for a 96-00 civic on the web. Also can you explain in detail what your alarm is doing when you try to remote start?

System is not seeing a good tach signal, the remote start "looks" for a tach signal to determine if engine has started and is running, it sounds like it is not seeing a proper tach signal so it tries to restart, it will do this three(3) times before shutting down the system.

Where are you picking up the tach signal from?
Although the 96 Civic has a tach test connector, [2pin plug on drivers side firewall in engine bay] IO have found that connecting to one of the fuel injectors seems to work better on all remote start systems, regardless of brand or model.

To help anymore I need a model number. 94
