Hi i have got a replacement remote for my viper 791 alarm starter combo. I got it programmed for the most part. I am only having trouble with the start. It cranks the car and it almost starts then shuts off. It tries the three times and quite trying.
The original remote worked and would start it. The replacement will not.
Is there away that you can adjust the crank time or something that it will start and recognize that it is running?
Thanks for any help.

but to answer your increase cranking your going to open the door, put the key to the ON position and immediately take it off, then hold your valet button until it chirps 3 times.
After that your going to press it 6 more times, but on the 6th press AND hold. should chirp 5 times... once that is done your going to press unlock. 2 chirps=0.8 seconds, 3 chirps=1 second. which should be more then enough at .08... default is 0.6

Before you just increase the cranking, Make sure that the tack is learned correctly and is even being used. Start the car and hold down the valet button till the led comes on and the headlights flash.
If the car is being used with voltage sence, let the remote start thru the cycle twice.
The brain does not change parameters for remote start for 2 different remotes.
Do this first. You really don't want a over cranking car for no reason.
