Default Viper 671 xv - help!

hey guys a friend of mine is trying to sell me this Viper 671 xv model for 40 bucks since he has no use for it. the problem is. i dont know if it's good or not and the main problem is he misplaced the remote. So i was wondering if its possible to buy the remote seperately and how much you think it costs (that's if you bought one before seperatly.)

Any info on this Model 671 xv is appreciated

I don't know if I would want a used alarm that I need to go out and spend a $100 on, buy it new and get 2 remotes, [only one is a 2way] but brand new alarm and warranty, 94

If it's brand new and the only thing missing is the remotes, it way be worth it, depends what you have to spent to get the remote and what a brand new one from a dealer, [that comes with 2 remotes and a lifetime warranty] would cost you, I would look into the cost diff first. 94
