Viper 5901 question
I am installing a Viper 5901 remote start / security system into my 2000 CRV 5 spd. I am a little confused as to what wires I need to tap into on the igntion harness for the H3 connector. The wording in the instuctions is kinda weird.
Is this correct?
H3 HARNESS
H3/1__Pink___________Ignition 1 Input/Output__________________Ignition Wire (Blk/YEL)
H3/2__Red/White______Flex Relay Input
H3/3__Orange_________Accessory Output______________________Climate Control (YEL)
H3/4__Violet__________Starter Output (Car Side)________________Starter Wire Car Side (BLK/RED)
H3/5__Green__________Starter Input (Key Side)_________________Starter Wire Key Side (BLK/RED)
H3/6__Red____________Ignition 1 Input_______________________12v Constant (WHT)
H3/7__Pink/White______(30) Flex Relay Output
H3/8__Pink/Black______(87a) Flex Relay Input
H3/9__Red/Black_______Accessory/Starter Relay Input____________12v Constant (WHT)
This is the way i have it hooked up right now. With the engine running in remote start mode when I remove the key from the ignition, the ABS light comes on and the blower motor stops working. When i exit the vehicle and shut it down it and then try to restart with the Fob it will not start. It trys 3 times but will not crank and then gives me 5 flashes from the park lights indicating the brake switch is active. i rechecked my brake switch wiring and it seems correct. Green/White wire 12v with brake pedal depressed. Am I getting some weird back feed issue with the ABS light coming on? Why does the blower not work even though I can take my power probe and apply power to the yellow acc wire and the blower works?
Any help would be appreciated!

sounds like you're missing an accessory wire. Try hooking up the white/black wire as well using the flex relay wires. Did you hook up to tach? Sounds like you need a tach signal. This might help you:
12 Volts white + ignition harness
Starter black/white + ignition harness
Ignition black/yellow + ignition harness
Accessory yellow + ignition harness
Second Accessory white/black + ignition harness
Power Lock green/white - driver door harness
Power Unlock green/orange - driver door harness
Parking Lights (-) blue/red
This wire only works if there is a factory alarm installed. It is at the green factory alarm plug in the drivers kick.
Parking Lights (+) red/black dash dimmer
Left Front Door Trigger lt. green/red - drivers kick
Also found at the green factory alarm plug located in the drivers kick panel.
Right Front Door Trigger
Left Rear Door Trigger
Right Rear Door Trigger
Dome Supervision comes on with unlock
Trunk/Hatch Pin blue/black - drivers kick
Also found at the green factory alarm plug located in the drivers kick panel.
Hood Pin yellow/red or yellow - hood switch
Also found at the green factory alarm plug located in the drivers kick panel.
Trunk/Hatch Release yellow + release switch
Tachometer blue test connector
Found at the 2-pin tach test connector on the drivers side of the firewall.
Brake Wire green/white + brake switch
Horn Trigger gray - drivers kick
May also use blue/green at the steering column, negative trigger.
12 Volts white + ignition harness
Starter black/white + ignition harness
Ignition black/yellow + ignition harness
Accessory yellow + ignition harness
Second Accessory white/black + ignition harness
Power Lock green/white - driver door harness
Power Unlock green/orange - driver door harness

What do i connect to ign 2?
That what I was wondering, do I need to use the flex relay to power the acc?
Everything else is hooked up and working fine, just the remote start issue to solve.
Thanks for the replys
