Default Viper 5704v ignition wire question

I want to ask anybody what is the true ignition wire input for the 5704v?
It's been awhile since I've installed any alarm above a Viper 700esp but have done many alarms in my days for dealerships and then local stereo shop for a few years. So not a newbie but just not up to date on current DEI alarms in the last 7 years.
First off the remote starter portion is not being installed on this EG Civic 5 spd I'm working on.

I get the alarm, digital tilt & glass break sensors and back-up battery installed.
Everything works except the alarm is not sensing true ignition.
I sit in the driver seat to test. All doors, hood, trunk are closed.
Arm alarm, wait 1 minute then turn ignition switch to start engine.
The engine does not crank (starter kill working) but alarm is not triggered by ignition.

I currently have the H3/6 Red (+)fused(30a) ignition 1 input hooked up the Blk/Yel run/start wire of the car.
Should I hook move the Blk/Yel (car) over to the alarm H3/1 Pink (+) Ignition 1 input/output?
The output part confused me so I didn't use that one, I didn't want to see the Genie come out the alarm brain.
I'll give it a shot since it is an input and output while waiting for a reply.

Thanks in advanced for anybody who can help.
