have my viper 350hv installed. Everything works fine. I want to add a switch so my alarm goes off when someone pops the hood. which wires do i hook up from the switch to teh alarm to get this to work.

Anyhelp will be greatly appreciated.

it should have a Negative trigger run that wire to a hood pin.

 

which color wire is it? i dont have the install booklet so i dont know which wire is which and i cant find one online. Anyone know where to find one or just let me know what color it is.

the blue wire is the one you are going to use
its an instant trigger (neg.)

 

so what do you hook the switch too? Do i make a loop with the blue and put the switch in the middle r how does this work.

 

dark blue wire it is called instant trigger wire.

You need a "hood pin switch" they typically go on the rad support...when you get one you'll understand what to do with it.
