I recently hardwired my V1 into my cigarette lighter and I don't think it's getting enough current. When I sometimes start the car, it makes a different series of beeps that specify low voltage. This I found out after talking to the tech wizzes at V1.
Has anyone else had a problem hardwiring anything to the cigarette lighter?
BTW, I'll be putting testing it with a voltmeter when I get my hands on one.

Excellent point, but to counter that, I had it hooked up to the POS cigarette lighter plug in with the coil wire and it didn't do it upon cranking
