Unknown engine electrical problem..
Was driving the car the other day, and just cut out heard a bit of electrical sparking, etc and just slowly died..
Had a look at everything, gearbox and head earthing are fine, still fueling, etc, distributor is fine and plugs are sparking, when you crank it over theres compression, and car feels like it wants to kick in, however when you crank it over and apply a bit of throttle, the electric might just suddenly cut for a second or if you do it to much, can hear more electrical sparking type of noises and cuts out again..
Not getting any engine management lights when cranking over and as said above, the mechanical side of things seems to be fine, appears to be a electrical problem.
any suggestions?

MM&Y of car?
Any mods to the car?
Any added electronics, [stereo, alarm/remote start, gauges, ign. upgrades (MSD), pimp my ride lights (neon)]?
If it looks like you are loosing power then there is a connection problem someplace either on the ground side of circuit or the power side.
If you can hear something, " can hear more electrical sparking type of noises" then that would indicate it is inside the car, not in engine bay.
If it is an older Honda/Acura I would guess the ign. switch, symptoms sound about right and not an uncommon problem on the older Honda/Acura.
