Since your right side works, take the left side tweet and install it on the left side and see if it works on the left side. If it does not work then it prolly is blown. If it does work then check your wiring on the right side.
the tweeters work on the passengers side. the wiring got double checked. i even took it to a friend in circuit city and said the wiring was done correct.
if you took the tweeter and hooked it up on the other side and it worked fine...there is an issue with your wiring. If a speaker works on one side of the car it should work on the other side.
If you took it to your friend who works at circuit city why didn't he just hook it up and get it working if he went thru the car and checked ALL your wiring to that side of the car
I'd check your connections at the back of your deck or at your amp. If they are components I would check the connections there and also make sure the tweeter is wired to the crossover correctly.

it could be the cross-over on the left side if the tweeter doesn't work on the left side but does the right side. Swap crossovers and see if it works.
At the crossover try using a 9 volt battery and tap + and - to the speaker wires on that go to the tweeter (do not leave it connected for more than a second) if the tweeter pops then the tweeter is fine, hook that back up then do the same thing to the input on the crossover you will have to reverse the polarity back and forth to get it to pop. This will pop both the midbass driver and the tweeter which will be very faint. If you do not get any pop then you most likly have a bad crossover. Pop is good, no pop is bad, do not pop it for very long, that will make your speaker pop no more.
