hi guys

just put a hks type-0 turbo timer in my dc2 ITR (turbo) with a harness adaptor, however whenever i use the signals or put it in reverse the timer starts counting down??!!

i have checked the wires

12v constant (checks ok)
12v ignition live (checks ok)
12v accessory live (read below..)

theres no voltage at the accessory live when the engines running but as soon as i signal or put in reverse there is voltage there, and the timer starts counting down

any ideas?
