Just saw a youtube clip of this security product this morning. Not sure if anyone else has posted this info on HT.

 

not bad of an idea, but thieves now-a-days don't even need to start your car to steal it.

 

that stage 3 protection one looks pretty cool lol

 

Seems like a hassle if you have a remote start on the vehicle. you would probably have to go through a tedious process to get it to start in conjunction with that turbo kill system installed or it may probably even be impossible. But if no remote start then it's something to give a try.

 

It's kinda neat.

I wish the remote would work with your existing keyless entry for example

 

I've owned an Integra for 2 weeks and am getting real paranoid of it getting jacked. I'm in the process of getting some security already...

 

Nothing new, it's a passive arming starter kill, a little more sophisticated then one you can make with a latching relay and a stealth switch that would be just as effective, or more so.

Although a good layer, don't go depending on it, by itself, to protect your car. 94

 

Second that. Best bet is to buy a "real" alarm system and save that for a back up kill.
