Default Trunk release

Anyone know how to wire up a solenoid to my alarm to have the trunk open with the push of a certain button on the remote? Solenoid has a pos and neg

Ground the neg of solenoid, pos of solenoid to a relay. The relay will be triggered by a neg output on your alarm. What type of alarm do you have?

Should have a neg. trunk output, if you know or are sure about the model # I can get you the wire color from the brain. You will need a SPDT relay and a trunk pop solenoid. A high torque door lock actuator will also work well.
