Alright so....
Someone tried to steal my Teg the other night, busted the driver handle but must have been a newbie cause the Rod was clearly visible but the car was not opened.
I know the alarm wasn't triggered because 1 I didn't hear it and 2 it didn't chirp 4x's indicating being set off.

Now it's a old unit but has been nothing but good to me in my past 3 vehicles.
It's a old Viper 6000 ESP Unit.
Old 1-Way system.
Still works fine though.

Now my question is since the Shock Sensor didn't go off (I do know it works but I assume he didn't hit the door hard enough to set it off) should I replace it with a Field Disturbance/Proximity Sensor? Or would I even be able to run both off the same port using Diodes to keep the sensors from feeding into each other or would the be ok just being spliced into each other.

Of course I'm asking because there is only 1 4-Pin slot for a sensor. So I'm asking if I can only have 1 or the other, which one would be better/preferred, or would I be able to run both off the same port and how so.

I already have 4dr handles coming so I can remove the locks and rods.

Any input appreciated.
Thanks.
