Default Transmitter range

Well I was bored so I was thinkin we could post some tips or techniques for maximizing transmitter range. Anybody have any tips or tricks they use?

If I'm doing a one-way starter, I keep the excess antenna wire in the headliner; meaning that I run the wire up the a pillar, then over as far as I can, then back to the antenna. That seems to help on the Avitals.

Also, your range is significantly affected by your ground. Good ground in the kick panel usually gets more range as opposed to a secondary ground made on the dash support somewhere...

I agree coiling up extra antenna wire and shoving it under the dash is deffinatly not good. I also believe a good ground will make any alarm or remote start have much better range and less problems in general.
