Teggy's system is finished!
I posted this in the audio/video section also but I figured that I'd post it here because ... well ... it is an Integra.
After putting my car back together since its fight with a curb (https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1494318) I've been slowly working on getting the audio portion up to being fully functional and looking good. Between working my main job and keeping up with my second job of owning/operating Stereo Integrity I haven't had much time to work on it except at night after work so I called on the skills of a friend of mine, Nick Morgan, to help me out with the subwoofer enclosure. I took my car up to his place and left it for a week while he built the amp rack and subwoofer enclosure in the spare tire well. Well, anyway, enough talk so here is an equipment list and pictures:
Eclipse 8v preamp/hu, Tara Labs Spectrum 1A interconnects, Adire Koda components in "factory" door locations (brackets were made to accomodate the 6.5" size in the 5.25" hole) with tweeters in the kicks - the sound stage is at dash level, Sundown Audio 2 channel amplifier for the fronts, Hifonics XX Colossus II sub amp, and two of my SI Mag D2 12's.
With my HU there are 24 db slopes between the mids and subs with the standard Koda passive crossovers taking care of the mid/tweet x-overs. Midbass is great, the doors are deadened to the hilt, but I still need to do some more deadening now that the subs are in because the hatch area sounds like it's falling apart when I'm really cranking on it.
This is the rear seat with the cover off of it (a black carpeted cover goes over top which makes it totally stealth...you just can't sit on it). PS: This is a Hifonics XX Olympus but I am going to switch out for the Sundown Audio amp because the Sundown amp sounds that much better:

Integra with old temp. system removed:

Rear all masked off:

3-4 layers of glass later:

The mold popped out and mated to the trim ring of MDF:

Enclosure roughed and installed for the making of beauty pannels:

Rear seat finished:

Beauty pannels carpeted:

And the sub enclosure painted and installed:

I'm going to put the end caps on the amplifier to clean it up a bit, but I need to gather the screws for the caps b/c I lost them.
But other than that, it's finished.

lol...but better. Unique doesn't do anything unique at all....they even said in an episode that they take the west coast "dub" style and try to give it a twist of east coast style.....looks cheap to me on the show.
Your work looks good man! That gloss black really makes it stand out...hows the sound quality?

The SQ is great. The sound stage is nice and high, and the width extends well beyond the width of the interior. Bass extension is well below sub sonic with tightness a 10 out of 10. The new Mag's are my latest creation and I couldn't ask for anything more. If anyone is in the NC Charlotte area I'll be more than happy to show it off to you. Now I've got to work on deadening the rear hatch area because when it's turned up the rear is just going ape ****. 'not too much I can do though - when you have a system this loud you can't get rid of all the rattles.

All I know is the motors on my 6.5's barely fit in the factory locations so I had to make adapter rings out of MDF in order to fit the Koda's in there.
Thanks for the remarks guys.

On the subs the Colossus II does a good job but I'm retiring the Olympus for my buddies new company Sundown Audio's 2 channel amplifier that I'm currently running since the Olympus is being repaired. The SA amp is a LOT smoother - I ended up completely knocking out 4 bands of EQ with the SA amplifier vs. what I had going for the Olympus.
The glass work was done by a friend of mine, so lets just say a LOT less than a shop would have charged. I can do all of the glass work but my buddy is 2x faster than I am and I needed it done while I worked also - he had a long break so I dropped my car off to him.
The Crown/JBL amps are comparable to the SA amplifier in terms of SQ, but the XX series Hifonics amps are above the std JBL amps but the older PG stuff (like the Tantrum) ... hard to say on that one.
