Default Tach finder.

i just installed a crimestopper cs2012 in my 94 civic and everything works except for the remote start. It is not reading my tach source. I tried the blue wire close to the firewall on the drivers side and the blue wire going to the ditributer. its still not reading my tach source. anyone know whats wrong?
