Subwoofer not hitting. AMP may be the problem.
I discovered that my subwoofers were not hitting..No sound was coming through them. I tested them & the speakers/woofers were fine.
Upon inspecting the amplifier, I saw that the green POWER light was not lit. However, there is a red light right beneath it that is lit and is labled as "PROT".
A while back, the pwr light was lit, and the other red light was not lit.
I was inspecting all of the wires and I found that the ground/power wires were smashed by the seat & the wires may be broken, thus not making a full connection.
My question is: WHAT DOES THE RED LIGHT LABLED "PROT" MEAN?
And, should I replace those wires to see if that solves the problem?

The amp is in "protection" (abbreviated PROT).
Usually, this indicates a short on either the speaker wires or the RCA's.
Unplug the RCA's from the amp and see if the protection light goes out. If not, plug them back in, and disconnect the speaker wires. If it still stays on, unplug the RCA's, too.
If it stays on then, it's possible that your ground wire may have been severed and the amp isn't "seeing" a good enough ground. Try replacing the ground wire. If the power wire is frayed/cut, replace it, too.
If the 'prot' light remains on with no RCA's or speaker wires connected, and with new power & ground wires, then it's likely that you have an internal fault which will probably require that you pull the amp for service.
