Default Subwoofer box

are these really as easy to make as people make it sound? i was interested in making them. anyone give me tips?

With the right tools, some knowledge of working with wood, a little incite of sub box construction, yes they are easy to build.

What is the make and model of sub(s) you want to make the box for?

either 12'' type r's or these MTX Thunder3000s also 12'' i wanted to build a sealed because i hear you get more bass with them. whats the difference between sealed and ported besides that hole? what does the hole do??
