Default Box Type for Subs

I have 2 12" infinity reference subs. Even thougth they arn't the greatest I don't care, it is all I can afford so first off don't bust on me for that. So my buddy said he would trade me his q logic sealed 1.0cu/l box for my bandpass box straight up. Would that be a good deal or not. I know that sealed sounds better that bandpass, but I just wanted your imput. I also have a 1.5 cu/l box, but it doesn't have the middle divider between the subs. Out of these three what do you think would be best. Sorry to go on and on... the shots are adding up

Go with the box you have, it does not need a "divider" in it, you will be running the subs in mono, that said, evan if they are "cheep" subs if they are installed in a box with the proper air volume and it's made AIRTIGHT and they have the right amount of power, [watts] and are x-overed properly they will sound great. 94

Cool thanks. I used to have them in the, but somebody told me it wasn't good because the one sub was inverted (pushing out when the other one went in) that is why i got that bandpass box since it was dirt cheap.

that will only happen if you've got your speakers wired in phase with each other. if you're running one inverted you have to switch the phase on it.

I mean that when he subs hit, the one would push the other cone out. I am pretty sure there were wired right, but that was a long time ago.
