Default Subs are REALLY low.

I finally was able to hook my subs up today, and when I did the results were terrible. I have 2 10'' subs and a 800watt amp. I got them working, but there so low my front speakers drowned them out. I was messing with the settings on the HU but no luck, what could be causing this. I know there really loud because I had them in my jeep and they were %150 louder in there.

Are your front speakers AMPED? Its a common problem when you put a massave sub amp combo in the back and nothing to your fronts.

AMP your fronts and there will be a difference.

Either get a bigger (more channels) or 2 amps.

Its a trial period. everybody goes thru it.

one quick question...are you using the right pre-amp plugs for the sub?? Hope you dont have them plug into the rear speaker pre-amp plugs, that might be causing the problem as well. check to see if they are pluged into the right pre-amps.

Your subs are probably out of phase. Switch the negative and postive around on one of the subs and see if that helps.
