Default Subs poping

This just started today when i got in my car and turned it on my subs poped and then it is fine and still plays everything ok. it also does it when i turn my car off. What could the problem be? I already checked all of my fuses and they are good. By the way i have 2 10's audiobahn with a 1400 watt majestic amp.
TIA

Did you check your grounds??

Yesterday I reinstalled my system (10w7 & 5001) after finishing up some custom work and didn't realize that I had a loose ground. The sub only popped when I turned it on and off...

read the audio faqs

ur answer is there
to fix the problem with turning it off and it popping if ur amp has the option set the on/off delay time
ie... once ur car is started it takes a second or two befor ethe amp turns off... and visa versa when turning car off

but read the faq anyways

see if your subs pop if you just turn the head unit off...if it does the same thing as with the ingnition, you've got a problem with your ground or your amp...if it doesn't pop...your amp is turning off before your head unit...you'll need to look into getting a turn on/off pop eliminator...which should be available from most any audio shop.
