Default Sub on stock SI HU?

Is it possible to throw a sub on a stock EM1 SI head unit? stereo is lacking depth, but don't want to sacrifice stock head unit awesomeness.

Stock head unit awesomeness??

Anyways... Yes, it's possible, and yes, this topic has been beaten to death.

You'll need a line out converter, as has been discussed literally hundreds of times...

if you're wanting depth to your soundstage you may be dissapointed with the improvement in depth via a sub. let's say your listening to a classical track....proper depth will allow you to pick out, for instance, that the person playing the piano is in front of the person playing the violin. your sub will allow you to reproduce the frequencies contained in the track but your depth will still suffer. get your front speakers installed properly and you'll start to experience proper depth
