I have a 79 El Camino that I am in the process of fabricating audio parts for. There is a rear section behind the seats and cover called a smugglers box. After I take space for the spare tire out I have aprox 20X20x8in available.

The subs will have to be facing up since there is not enough room. What subs would you guys recommend?

I was thinking about the kicker solobaric, but have not experience with them. I am not looking to spend a fortune, would like some nice sound with some decent "bump on demand".
