sub question

Default sub question

what would cause a sub to consistantly vibrate. My sub seems to be dogin that once in a while.. it jsut consistantly sends out a low bass note even when the deck is turned down. could it be ground thats causing it?

ok man ill try to help.. check your wiring first.. make sue pos and neg are ok and then check your rca's see if that helps..

check your RCAs. They could be touching some metal and sending feedback in the signal to the amp. Making sure you have a good ground connection wouldn't hurt either, but I have had the RCA thing happen before so it would be a good place to start.

do you hear like a whining noise coming through the sub. Cause it sounds like were having the same problem. Did it suddenly just start?

no whining... it's jsut like the sub sometimes will be consistantly hitting a low note.. almost sound like I have an exhaust on my car fomr the inside.
