what is the best way to secure a sub enclosure so it doesn't get ripped off and still have ready access to the spare tire well?

I read your verbal post; I don't know how you do it sometimes. The people here should feel lucky to have someone that actually knows what they're doing.

 

If you want to make it hard to steal than go with a false floor , but good luck getting a spare in there with a false floor . Probably wont happen, if they do integrate the spare and jack the install wont look that good IMO. Just get triple a and if you have a blow out call a friend with a spare or call AAA and tow it home so you can throw the spare on. When you go on trips or long drives lay your OEM carpet over the system then set the spare and jack on the carpet . Thats what I do

 

Ummm...I got a false floor in a BMW with full access to the spare and jack, and I would say it looks sweet.
