this is just starting to happen to me.
well while i was driving my car, i would hit a bump and my stereo jus went dead.
i would hit it a few times and it would turn back on but once another bump comes up, its goes off again.
now all it does is turn off and on, it seems like it cant make up its mind if it wants to stay on or not.
i checked all the wires and plugs and they seem ko.
i dont know what else to do.
i was kinda thinking it was the stereo though but i dont know.
any help would be great, thanks.

power is shorting out somehow... Dunno if its a grounding connection you have or a bad connection somewhere else... I would check you power wire and if you cnat find anything its inside of your HU thats causing it and you might have burned a chip up...
I don't know if you are running an aftermarket stereo or not. But mine was doing the same thing what was happening was that the mounting frame in the dash kept sliding back . So I ghetto ridged it with som card board inserts and it works fine now.

yea it's an aftermarket stereo but i don't have an amp or anything. i think it's just the person that rides in the car with me because everytime he rides with it messes up and vice versa when he doesn't so i don't know. i also did check my power wire and reconnected it so i think it's gravy now. thanks
