The box is too big, and you can build on that is lighter for way less money

and yes 2 10's will be heavier than one 12"

interesting....i dont have a garage so that puts an end to my slowly on going project....but I can measure everything out and then try it in the basement.

I think im just going to make a box that has an inner carpeted (about 5 inches in and rest black paint) PVC pipe that is wide enough to fit the mugen strut bar through....

edit: it not only adds/saves the room behind the bar that would normally be thrown away, but it also makes a "safer" box since now you have to yank the strut bar off to steal the box.

Sounds like it would be tricky to get the strut bar through the PVC with the box in place. Does the bar have "feet" that would prevent it from going through the PVC tube?

I made a custom vented 4.5 cubic foot fiberglass box in my spare tire well for a Kicler L7 15" powered by a RF80.2 and it makes your brain rattle!! I never worked with fiberglass before and it acutally wasn't that bad, I'd just do it yourself it will be a lot cheaper than buying any pre-fab boxes or have anbyody do it youself!! Make sure you use fiberglass cloth instead of the mat, it's much easier to use!!

Good luck man!!
