Default Static after sub install

Hola,
brand new to the group, anyway I was looking in old threads and didn't see this topic I just put in a powered bazooka and am getting some static usually during the vocals through my fronts in the tweeter. Kind of like if you had crummy speakers turned up too high. I ran the Power line on the same side as the RCA jacks but I gave it 1-3 inches of space (3 when allowed since I left the seats in and couldn't go under when installing) is that too close for a 100W powered sub? The RCAs are shielded too. I guess I will rip everything out and try again. If anyone has had this problem before be great if you can share how you fixed it.

Danke

Figured it out. It seems I picked Californication by the Chili Peppers and the disc I have has static on the vocals, at the time I didn't think that a new CD would have a problem I must have bought the one bad disc. I thought it had good bass so that'll teach me. Seems like I redid the wiring for nothing. LOL

That Californication disc was definately the problem. Every Californication disc I've ever heard has sounded like it was distorting...Maybe done on purpose by the recording studio...we'll never know.
